Big photo exhibition: "Real People Real Needs" - UNHCR World Refugee Day 2009 Photo Exhibition
Works on show by: Ashok R. Shakya, Kari Collins, Kashish Das Shrestha, NayanTara Gurung Kakshapati, Edwin Koo, Zalmai, Christian Als, Saiful Huq Omi, John Lehmann, James Giambrone and H.E. Nancy Powell
Some great pictures at exhibition, and housed in the unkempt, warehouse-like Bhrikuti Mandap exhibition hall. There are many images being
displayed, some regular size and many an enormous 3m x 4m hanging from the
beams in the roof. There is also a bamboo Bhutanese
refugee house and some other installations which put you in touch with how
it is to be a refugee.
