we will also be joined by bhushan tuladhar, executive director of Environment and Public Health Organization- ENPHO- a non-profit research based service-oriented organization that has been working in the environment and public health sector since 1990. ENPHO works towards the development and promotion of appropriate technologies and practices for creating Eco-societies. mr. tuladhar will give us a brief overview of climate change issues in the nepali context. www.enpho.org

We also have two back to back presentations from burma- chronicling dire political and social needs before and after cyclone nargis.

Last but not the least we have an animation piece prepared by firefly studios titled "Afai Lai Biswas Garena Bhanay"

On the occasion of Himal Khabarpatrika's 10th Anniversary Himalmedia published 'Photojournal 2008', a collection of pictures from the People's Movement to Constituent Assembly. Photographs tell the unblemished truth, and they provide us a glimpse of the extraordinary times.
